Summer has flown by, and now we’re back to school! As we begin the new school year, here is an exciting report from earlier this summer!
Our principal, Ms. Noyola, was invited on a 10-day trip to Japan! It was the first time for her to experience our country. She got to meet and connect with 14 other educators from the US, all of whom are starting their own Japanese language programs. The visit included Tokyo, Kyoto and Kanazawa. (Read article here) Following this exposure to and education of the culture, she expressed her excitement about how she might like to improve our Japanese DLP.
We are lucky to have such an open-minded principal who works tirelessly for our program. We also look forward to this year’s progress!
